Help make ZEMIRA a reality
Thank you for your help in bringing ZEMIRA’s story to the screen. There are different levels of funding that we need to produce this film, an essential one being able to pay for a Director of Photography (and equipment) whose skill is in making the director’s vision for the film come true to life through his or her film camera.
We have a fantastic D.P. (as we call them in the industry) lined up that is in high-demand, Francisco Escobar, who grew up in conditions similar to our title character and understands first-hand what we’re trying to accomplish socially and artistically; it would be a great pleasure to work with him and that’s what your donations will help make happen.
In the upper right-hand corner of this message is where you can fill in the amount you want to donate as well as the goal amount we’re going for – we have 2 months from now to make that happen. If it’s just $5 you can spare, that’s wonderful, as every amount matters. If you’re able to be as generous to donate $500 or above, you can get what they call a ‘walk-on’ role in the film, which basically means you’ll be one of the ‘background’ characters (non-speaking) in an essential scene of the film.
